In 2014, California Democrats once again swept all constitutional statewide offices and even added a new congressional seat to our U.S. House delegation — all during a year that saw Republicans gain across the nation. In 2015, we’re ready push back against the Republicans and that starts with laying the groundwork required to hold the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Senator Barbara Boxer.
That’s why we need your help in Anaheim at the 2015 California Democrats State Convention!
Without the help of hundreds of volunteers like you, we can’t make this the successful event that Democrats from around the state have come to expect, with over 3,500 delegates, special guests, and media in attendance. This is your chance to join us as we strategize, elect party officers, and set the stage for our 2016 victories.
The convention will be May 15 – 17 in Anaheim. Sign up here to be a volunteer at the 2015 California Democrats State Convention.
We will need more than 500 volunteers to facilitate a productive and exciting convention. There will be opportunities for you to attend General Session and hear our headline speakers after you complete your assigned shifts.
If you have any questions, please contact me at Volunteer2015@cadem.org. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any special needs. Some assignments will require sitting while others may involve standing or acting as a runner — we will do our best to position you within your ability and interest.
Thank you, and see you in Anaheim!
P.S. Please note that in order to volunteer at the State Convention, you must sign up in advance. There will be a mandatory training for all volunteers on the evening of Thursday, May 14.
